Today along the Bow River - September 2014

Photo, © Bow River Shuttles

With the recent snow fall behind us, and a promising weather forecast, Bow River fly fishers were anxious to get out on the water today.

It was sad to see the farmer's fields along the Bow, of w
heat, barley and other grains, flattened by the wet heavy snow we received earlier this week. It's been reported that only about 13% of Alberta's crops had been harvested prior to the snow storms.

The boat launch at 22X/Fish Creek Park is closed. It will reopen on or before Sept 19. (note new date).
